What do you do?
We are a company specializing in glass, ceramic and porcelain decoration. Our products with logos, images or information are used worldwide, which ranks us among the world leaders in the field.
Who is your e-shop intended for?
Our e-shop is aimed at smaller customers, including:
- Beverage manufacturers
- Restaurants, bars, hotels, guesthouses
- Cities and municipalities
- Sports and cultural event organizers
- Fan shops and festivals
- Private individuals for family celebrations or weddings
What products do you offer for decoration?
In our e-shop you can choose from currently offered items, which are divided into categories:
- Beer - beer glasses, mugs, half-liter glasses
- Wine - wine glasses, carafes, decanters
- Spirits - whisky, brandy, vodka glasses
- Hot beverages - coffee, tea, mulled wine mugs
- Non-alcoholic and mixed drinks - juice and cocktail glasses
- Ashtrays - glass ashtrays in various sizes
Each category can be further filtered by volume.
Can I also purchase plain glass without decoration?
Yes, for purchasing plain glass without decoration you can visit our specialized e-shops at www.sahmgastro.cz, www.sahmgastro.de and www.sahmgastro.sk. On these sites, some items are also available with calibration marks.
Creating an inquiry
How do I create an inquiry?
The inquiry creation process follows these steps:
- Product selection - Choose an item in the e-shop by category and volume
- Inquiry form - After clicking, a form opens with a preview of the selected product
- Logo upload - Upload your logo (we recommend vector format)
- Decoration adjustment - Adjust logo position, size and add text
- Specifications - Choose number of colors, quantity, possibly calibration
- Notes - Add required delivery date or special instructions
- Cart review - Check your order and select shipping and payment
- Billing details - Enter correct billing information and submit inquiry
What format should I provide my logo/decoration in?
Recommended format: Vector file (AI, EPS, SVG) "in curves"
If you provide a logo in another format, we will try to convert it, but you will be charged a fee for this work. Vector format guarantees the highest decoration quality and allows precise adherence to your specifications.
Can I save the decoration design for later use?
Yes, the design you create in the preview can be saved and used for decorating other selected items.
Do you offer glass calibration?
Yes, if the item allows it, we offer calibration (adding calibration line), which is necessary for public serving of beverages. Our calibration marks are approved and comply with current legislation.
Decoration specifications
How many colors can my logo have?
In the form you can choose 1, 2 or 3 colors. If your logo has more colors, you can decide either to reduce to 3 colors, or the price for multi-color decoration will be specified individually in the final offer.
We use official Pantone colors for precise color determination.
Can you guarantee exact color shade according to my specifications?
Warning: Glass decoration cannot guarantee absolutely exact color shade. However, we always try to get as close as possible to your specifications and in the preview from the graphic designer you will receive Pantone color designations.
Price, quantity and payment
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity is 144 pieces. Smaller quantities cannot be ordered for technological and economic reasons. The quantity will be automatically rounded to full cartons.
Why might the delivered quantity differ from ordered?
The delivered quantity may differ by ±10% due to production technology. During firing, some pieces may crack, or they may be rejected during quality control. If a larger quantity is delivered within this tolerance, you will be asked to pay extra at the unchanged unit price.
What are the payment terms?
For all orders we require 100% payment in advance based on the agreed final offer.
How can I pay?
After approving the offer you can pay:
- PayPal - instant payment through payment gateway
- Bank transfer - based on proforma invoice, which you will receive the next business day
Important for companies: Enter VAT ID correctly for VAT-free invoicing (especially abroad). Later changes are problematic.
Process after submitting inquiry
What happens after submitting the inquiry?
After submission you will receive an automatic confirmation email with summary. We recommend checking the spam folder as well.
Your inquiry will first be checked by our graphic designer, who will verify the usability of materials and possibly ask you to complete them. Then they will prepare a decoration preview.
How does order approval work?
After graphic review, the inquiry is passed to a sales representative who will add prices and completion deadline. Then they will send you a final offer by email with a link where you can check the preview, price and conditions. Here you can:
- Confirm the offer (and thus bindingly order)
- Return with modification request
- Cancel it
When does production of my order start?
Production is started immediately after receiving your payment.
What is the standard production time?
Standard production time ranges between 5 to 8 weeks from payment and approval of the final design. Time may vary depending on the technology used and number of pieces.
Specify required deadline in notes - we will do our best to meet it.
Delivery and claims
What are the shipping options?
You can choose:
- Personal pickup at our branch in Czech Republic
- Shipping by carrier - we send goods on pallets to minimize risk of damage during transport
How is shipping charged for multiple items?
When ordering multiple items, shipping is charged and paid for each item separately. However, we always try to send the entire order at once. Saved shipping costs will subsequently be refunded based on the final invoice.
What should I do when my shipment arrives damaged?
When receiving the shipment, it is essential to check whether damage has occurred. Any damage to the packaging or contents must be noted in the goods receipt protocol from the carrier. Only in such case can we refund money for damaged goods.
Common technical problems
I didn't receive the confirmation email
Solution:
- Check SPAM/Junk mail folder
- Add our domain to trusted senders list
- Contact us if you cannot find the email
I have problems uploading my logo
The graphic designer will contact you if there are problems with materials. Respond promptly to completion requests and provide correct formats according to our instructions.
Can I change or cancel my order?
- Before approval: Yes, via link in email with offer
- After payment: Changes are not possible, production has started
